BRAND DIGITALISATION AND VISUAL IDENTITY

VinylPlus® is the voluntary commitment to sustainable development of the European PVC industry, working to improve the sustainability performance of PVC. PVC is one of the most widely used plastics in the world with a wide range of long-life applications such as window frames, pipes, flooring, cables, sport equipment, furniture and a range of lifesaving medical devices. PVC can be recycled multiple times, and VinylPlus works to do just this!

During the four years that I have worked with the organisation I have been able to observe many changes. Deriving its presence from physical to digital, VinylPlus has undergone updates in its identity: vibrant colours, dynamic designs and communication by new media have been some of these changes.

One of the first tasks was the design of the logo for VinylConnect, the contact platform with partners, associates and people interested in circular economy and green deal; and the logo for VinylPlusMed, the project that seeks to accelerate sustainability in healthcare. For both, and due to the recent incorporation of vinylPlus to digital channels, the colours and the representative shape of the brand were maintained. A second part is added to create the specific identity of the projects.

The newsletter is one of the flagship products of VinylPlus communication is its newsletter. The actions in relation to its design was to rebuild the structure and visual aspect of this product, also taking it to an online format, hosted on the MailChimp digital correspondence platform.

The communication materials through social networks were also updated. For this, a collection of static images and simple animations was produced, which even became part of the brand’s advertising in media such as the POLITICO newspaper.

Another product that has recently been renewed are printed materials such as brochures and triptychs. Once again, the refreshed elements have been included, work has been done on the structuring of the content and on the type of image shown.

Finally, and for a more agile communication, we created an HTML template with a header and footer according to the project.
