A part of the Pokémon franchise, the game is the result of a collaboration between Niantic, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. Events are a crucial part in Pokémon Go: they keep people engaged, playing through the time, and they are a good opportunity to incorporate dynamics, items and Pokémon to the game. The following section is a good example of this kind of content, where temporary actions, new features and other extras are key for success.

As designing is not only about colors and making things prettier but doing them functional, let me show you the first draft I did of the website. These boxes, arrows and asterisks helped me understanding a little bit better the purpose of the website I was re-designing.

MOBILE VERSION

The following mockups correspond to the first ideas of this platform when visualized in a smartphone. Certain sections are modified to the natural gesture of the users, as it happens in the Pokédex section: with a horizontal swipe we can save vertical length.
