Dealing with pharmaceutical products could be complicated due to the large and complex amount of data. Messing with words and numbers is easy, and the effects of these mistakes can cause a loss of million of Euros for companies the size of SANOFI. The aim is to create a platform using centralized information to provide employees, clients, and stakeholders, updated and correct data about the different products, and how are they performing though the different markets.

With a renewed brand identity, SANOFI app has been developed to consolidate this change. New lines and colours offered possibilities to shape information handled by hundreds of people around the globe every day.

Concepts such as accessibility, clarity, and coherence, should be reflected on each screen. The access screen unlocks through the user identifier, which can be the email or the personal identification number, plus the password used in the rest of the applications and messaging services. The option of creating a user is available by entering the alphanumeric code provided by the account manager.

One of the tools that directly appears on the homepage is the product index. Access to information related to Sanofi products can be done through the item nomenclature, or through a photo taken of the product.

While through the writing tool the options are narrowed as the name is completed, using the photo identification, and thanks to the convolutional network system (artificial intelligence), the search result appears directly below the picture we have taken. This search has been simplified to the maximum to save time and possible errors.

  • In Step 1 , we can choose between pressing the reserved area to enter the product name, which will display the keyboard of our device; or pressing the image capture icon. This last option uses the back camera to take a picture. The software will proceed with the recognition of the product thanks to the analysis of the image.


  • With Step 2, we can enter the product name ourselves to show matching products as we complete it. The application will use a NoSQL database with the inventory to display matching products. If we choose to use image recognition, our image will use the database from the Google Images API to highlight matches related to SANOFI products.


  • Finally, in Step 3 , we are offered the result, or results, matching our search. Selecting the option we are looking for will open the inventory file for that product. It will also show the menu of the product where we can find: add a review, view analysis, share and open the search panel.

Create, modify or view events. The calendar screen is automatically synchronized with the events created in Outlook. The easy visualization of this calendar allows you to see both events that take place on the same day, as well as events that last more than one day. The filter option also makes it easy to find events or meetings within a pre-designed category, or a user-created category.
